At first, there was a feeling of wonder,
as I moved effortlessly through the lovely garden maze.
My silken gown flowed in slow motion, about my body,
As my eyes seemed to be seeing through a misty haze.
A soft breeze touched my face,
a glistening dewdrop sparkled as it clung to a rose petal, frozen in time.
This labyrinth was the work of a master gardener,
and I was both amazed and comforted, filled with wonder at what I might find.

Each turn I chose, each step I took
lead me deeper into a dream from which I did not want to awake.
I ran my fingertips over the multicolored flowers twisting through the hedges.
They burst forth with extravagant blooms,
so brilliant it was almost more than my senses could take.

Where was I? In a garden so amazing.
Softly, I could hear a tender voice rhythmically repeat,
"Life. Love. Life. Love. "
It comforted and surrounded me with tenderness.
Any fear or apprehension vanished in total defeat.

I found myself sitting beside a lovely, winding brook.
It moved miraculously in a mesmerizing dance
with the repeating voice,
"Life. Love. Life. Love. "
Lying back, joy flooded my very soul.
My eyes beheld the beauty of a dazzling white dove.

Dew dropped from the boughs
of a wistful weeping willow,
as tears upon a cheek.
The repeating whisper,
"Life. Love. Life. Love,"
moved me to a soft and cleansing weep.
What was this place that brought me joy,
wrapped me in amazing love . . . and cried with me?
In a moment of complete joy,
I knew what it was
I had been allowed to see.

Words from the Master Gardner
made it completely clear.
This was one of His most precious
works of art.
As I looked about,
I realized I was walking in
the Garden of a Woman's Heart.
