Remember days when dreams were like the sea,
never ending and sure to be?
You saw them with your heart so pure and
knew they surely would endure.
When did you cast them back into the sea?
Did you think that they would simply never be?
As years went by and worldly things,
drowned out the songs your heart did sing
of dreams God gave to lead you to the very life
He planned for you . . .
God's creation, you have not changed,
for in your heart . . His dreams still remain.
For it was God who placed them there,
to bring you joy and not dispair.
It matters not that time has passed,
reach out and get them, hold them fast.
God did not change His plan for you
or take away the dreams you knew.
It was you who made the choice
to let them go,
to deny the voice . . .
that came to you so full of grace
to help you live and touch this place.
So, no matter that days and years have passed,
He made your dreams to forever last.
They are waiting for you, just like the sea.
With God,. . . dreams become reality.
So, reach for your dreams, my friend,
for it can truly be . . .
for God has a plan for you and me.
